The current edition of the publication Social Protection in Austria was compiled in 2008 and describes the functioning of social security in Austria. Further content can be found in the respective Social Reports which provide information on the social policy activities of the Ministry as well as containing an Analysis Section with current data on the development of social expenditure, on the risk of poverty as well as on the distribution of income and wealth.
