Social Affairs
For more than 90 years the Ministry of Social Affairs has stood for fundamental values such as fair distribution of wealth, good working conditions and social security. It also stands for equal opportunities for people with and without disabilities, for people of all age groups and all social groups. Combating poverty and social exclusion as well as a fair level of participation of the entire population in the affluence of society are key objectives of the Ministry in the social sector. These objectives are also pursued at an international level, and particularly within the framework of the
EU.
